Opened in 2008 the Siam Park with its 46 acres is Europe’s biggest water park.

The theme of the park, which is located in Adeje in the south of Tenerife, is the former kingdom of Siam, this is why you can find many impressive Thai style buildings and temples there.

In August 2020, this venue received, for the seventh consecutive year, the Travelers’ Choice Award from TripAdvisor users. The amusement park features 15 rides, shops and restaurants. There are 29 different types of water slides, including the so called “Tower of Power”. The 28 meter high and almost vertical water slide is definitely the right choice for thrill-seekers.

But there are of course also areas to relax and sunbathe, like “Siam Beach”. The adjoining “Wave Palace” lives up to its name, offering 42 types of waves, including the world’s biggest artificial wave (11 ft.).

Naturally the Siam Park has some more trumps up its sleeve… The Mai Thai River for example is not only the longest lazy-river in the world, but also boasts the highest elevation (26 ft.)

Your kids can also get a major fun fix at The Lost City, a water fortress with towers linked together with bridges, slides and waterfalls. There’s also the Baby Zone, the Canary Islands’ first baby pool, with slides made specially for the littlest ones to enjoy with their parents. Sawasdee is a kids’ zone, made just for them, where the attractions for older visitors have been adapted to younger ones’ energy levels: a jungle of endless slides.

An aquatic haven for dolphins

Tenerife water park Aqualand offers yet more fun splashing around in the water. Along with some 15 water attractions including slides, swimming pools and floats, guests can take in a spectacular dolphin show. Watch these friendly mammals show off their skills with their trainers, with dancing, speedy games and incredible routines.

Children can also get a chance to get up close to the dolphins at the park, with visits arranged by their professional trainers who know these animals inside out. Adults and children can also learn more wonderful facts about dolphins at Dolphin Planet.
The enclosure at this Tenerife water park is proud to have been named the one with the best dolphin show in the world by the International Marine Animal Trainers’ Association (IMATA). And there’s more. The water park’s new attractions include Isla Aventura (Adventure Island) and Puerto Pirata (Pirate Port) where kids can have the best adventures set in a magical, picturesque location. The setting is so good you’ll think you’re on the set of the best pirate films.
